Vocab Test

AP English is like a cudgel knocking some sense into your head. In this course you cannot slack off and turn in work that is slovenly. If you don't do your work you can provoke your teacher. You may say it was inadvertently, but by you not doing your work was the cause. Its already hard enough for teachers to understand the jargon language students use, but they still expect us to do our work. It seems that they expect us to use archaic language that we don't even understand. We'll write a lot of words that are superfluous. By us trying to use that language, we can turn in egregious and frivolous work. I think that if students use the language they know and understand, they will feel catharsis about the work they turn in.
