1. Venomous: full or containing venom; poisonous
-The venomous snake bit the lady, and she died.
2. Stolid: not easily stirred or moved mentally or emotionally
-A very stolid worker showed excitement.
3. Hypnotized: to put in a state of hypnosis; to fascinate
-The cat was hypnotized by the string.
4. Suspended: to keep from falling or sinking, as if by hanging
-He suspended the swing from the tree.
5.Transformed: to change in form
-He transformed his manners.
6. Accuse: to charge with the fault, offense, or crime
-They accused him of stealing.
7.Anticipate: to realize or feel beforehand; foresee
-We anticipate that we will run into problems.
8.Fringe: a decorative border of short threads, cords, or loops
-The curtain had a fringe at the bottom of it.
9.Melancholy: a gloomy state of mind; depression or dejection
-The little girl was in a melancholy mood after the death of
her mother.
10.Earnestly: serious in intention, purpose, or action
-The earnest young man had no use for jokes.
11.Dissolve: to (cause to) become undone; (cause to) come to an
end
-He helplessly watched his marriage dissolve.
12. Aggravate: to make worse or more severe; intensify; to annoy
-The constant noise aggravated the readers at the library.
13. Illuminate: to supply or brighten with light; light up
-The streets were well illuminated for the holidays.
14. Capillary: one of the tiny, hair-like blood vessels between the
arteries and the veins
-We as humans, have many capillaries.
15. Proboscis: the long, flexible nose of certain animals, as of an
elephant
-A honey bee has a proboscis which is like a tiny drinking straw
that sucks up nectar from flowers.
